2026 So Far: Growth, Gratitude, and Zack's Legacy
What a year it's already been. In just our third year as a fund, the first part of 2026 has been a reminder of what this community is capable of when it comes together around something that matters. This morning, May 20th, 2026, we had the honor of presenting the 2026 Zack Leffler Memorial Scholarship at Walton-Verona High School's senior awards ceremony. This year, we awarded three $2,000 scholarships to seniors who exemplify what Zack stood for — hard work, leadership, and lifting up the people around them. We are beyond thrilled to recognize: Jackson Morwessel, who will be attending the University of Cincinnati this fall. Jackson has been a fixture on the soccer field

This year’s ZLMF Cornhole Tournament was more than friendly competition—it was another beautiful reminder of what community can do when we show up for something bigger than ourselves. Celebrating Our 2025 Scholarship Recipients
One of the most meaningful parts of the Zack Leffler Memorial Fund’s mission is supporting young people who reflect the values Zack lived every day—hard work, heart, community, and a true love for the game.
