2026 So Far: Growth, Gratitude, and Zack's Legacy

What a year it's already been.
In just our third year as a fund, the first part of 2026 has been a reminder of what this community is capable of when it comes together around something that matters. From the golf course to the graduation stage, Zack's name and spirit were everywhere — and we couldn't be more grateful.
The 3rd Annual Golf Outing

On April 4th, we gathered at Kenton County Golf Course for the 3rd Annual Zack Leffler Memorial Golf Outing, and honestly — wow. This year's event was truly something special. To every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter who showed up: thank you. Year after year, you continue to show up for this mission, and year after year, this day grows into something bigger and more beautiful than the last.
Because of you, we exceeded our fundraising goals and raised over $30,000 — bringing our all-time total to over $100,000 since the fund was established. Every dollar goes toward helping kids in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky community play, grow, and thrive through sport, just like Zack did. We carry him with us in all of it.
The 2026 Scholarships

On May 20th, we had the privilege of presenting three $2,000 Zack Leffler Memorial Scholarships at Walton-Verona High School's senior awards ceremony. This year's recipients — Jackson Morwessel, Luke Muirheid, and Tristan Clifton — are three remarkable young people who embody everything Zack stood for. Hard work, leadership, and genuine care for the people around them. Jackson is headed to the University of Cincinnati, Tristan to Dartmouth College, and Luke to Thomas More University. We are so proud of each of them and can't wait to see what they do next.
Looking Ahead
We already can't wait for the rest of this year (start getting excited for our annual cornhole tournament in the Fall!!!). If you haven't already, please consider making a donation to help us continue growing this mission. And if you have photos from this year's outing, tag us or send them to zacklefflermemorialfund@gmail.com — we love seeing this community captured.
Thank you for keeping Zack's legacy alive. His impact lives on through every single one of you.
